Years 1 – 3

  • Expand community clubs
  • Coaches/instructors to engage with education providers and home-schooled pupils to deliver taster sessions and signpost to community clubs
  • Provide access to structured training for underprivileged communities for coach/ instructor/official roles

Years 4 – 6

  • Increase opportunities for volunteers, coaches/ instructors and students to take up welfare and other relevant support rolesEstablish national leagues and tournaments
  • Introduce and identify talent pathways

Years 7 – 10

  • Integrate grassroots into both the national NGB tournament league, inviting Olympic talent scouts to assess and recruit potential podium athletes
  • Increase athlete retention for transition to coach/ instructor/official roles
