Trevor Nicholls

Chief Executive Officer

Trevor is the Chief Executive Officer of the British Taekwondo Council (BTC). With over 50 years of experience in Taekwondo, his leadership continues to shape the strategic direction of Taekwondo. Trevor is the operational lead for Anti-Doping and EDI, ensuring that policies and procedures are tailored and implemented in BTC clubs.

Kevin Beddows

Lead Safeguarding & Finance Officer

Kevin’s background is in mechanical engineering, health & safety and team leading in the chemicals industry. Kevin is the Finance Officer and the Lead Safeguarding Officer with responsibility for the management of DBS checks, safeguarding case management and compliance with NSPCC/CPSU/ACT Safeguarding frameworks.

Kenny Walton

Coaching Director

Kenny is a senior TKD practitioner and leads on the education and CPD of BTC Registered Instructors and the BTC National Championships

Ashley manages the BTC website, the online membership database and the administration of BTC courses and TKD programmes

Deputy Lead Safeguarding Officer

Carol supports the BTC Lead Safeguarding Officer with the management and administration of DBS checks, safeguarding case management and course administration

Technical Officer

Dave supports the BTC Lead Safeguarding Office in the review and update of Safeguarding policies and procedures, and the delivery of coach education courses

With a background in Education, Fiona supports the BTC Lead Safeguarding Office in the review and update of Safeguarding policies and procedures, and the delivery of coach education courses.
