Years 1 – 3

  • Standardise coach/instructor education and <certification>
  • Create opportunities for upcoming coaches/ instructors with the technical and soft skills relevant to the role
  • Accredit eligible and compliant coaches/ instructors (safe facilitation, safeguarding, vetting & barring checks, insurance, etc)
  • Provide ongoing training and support for coaches/ instructors to maintain their accreditation

Years 4 – 6

  • Expand collaborations with sport system partners for knowledge exchange
  • Increase diversity and inclusion in coaching/ instructor staff

Years 7 – 10

  • Work with sport or education partners to implement coach/instructor award
